Spherical Shift-cable bushings

Spherical bearings for use in replacing your stock rubber shift cable bushings. The standard MR2 Spyder / MR-S / MR2 Roadster shift cables come with a rubber bushing where the shift cable meets the selector mechanism at the transaxle. Many people have found that replacing the mushy rubber bushing with solid bushings or rollerblade bearings can improve shifting feel. However, the shift cable movement is not in a straight line, to really get the best shift performance you need to allow for movement in all 3 dimensions. This listing is for a pair of spherical bearings. They are sized to fit your Toyota shift cables (but be advised, most of the time the shifter cable eyes have become out of round from years of fighting the shift movement in one dimension - so you may have to work a bit to get a good fit). This isn't a "kit," it is just a pair of bearings/bushings. You will need to re-use the pin from your existing bushings (or use a cotter pin), and you may want to add washers to the installation as spacers for a good snug vertical fit.
